The Project Logistician will be responsible for coordinating all logistical activities related to project implementation, including procurement, transportation, inventory management, and distribution. He/she will work closely with the project coordinator and accountant, suppliers, and other stakeholders to optimize logistical processes and support the successful execution of projects

Develop and implement logistical plans in coordination with
project teams, identifying resource requirements, delivery schedules, and
distribution channels.
Procure materials, equipment, and services necessary for project
activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and budgetary
constraints.
Coordinate transportation and shipping logistics, including
customs clearance, freight forwarding, and tracking of shipments to ensure
timely delivery.
Manage inventory levels and storage facilities, monitoring stock
levels, conducting regular audits, and optimizing inventory turnover.
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to negotiate
contracts, resolve issues, and maintain positive working relationships.
Provide logistical support to project teams, including
coordinating travel arrangements, accommodation, and other logistical requirements
for project personnel.
Monitor and evaluate logistical performance, identifying areas for
improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed to enhance efficiency
and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and safety
protocols governing logistical operations.
The Logistic
Officer will support “WIP” implementation, the program supporting business
start-ups, micro-projects, business activities, etc… by coordinating
logistical, field, and administrative tasks in close collaboration with the
Small Projects Support Officers. The role ensures efficient coordination of
field visits, beneficiary engagement, logistical arrangements, and office
administration to facilitate smooth project operations.
مؤهلات
Bachelor’s degree in logistics,
supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
(preferred).
English language proficiency level
B2 or higher.
Knowledge of the main computer
tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Possession of a driving license.
Previous experience in logistics
coordination in development projects in the area of intervention, with at least
3 years of experience with NGOs.
Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify logistical challenges and
implement solutions to optimize performance.
Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal
and external stakeholders.
Ability to work well under
pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
Knowledge of relevant regulations
and compliance requirements related to logistics, procurement, and
transportation.
Preference will be given to previous experience in AICS
projects (Italian Cooperation).
